Here you will find the latest news and information for all that is happening in the Tomahawk District.  Check back often for updates, and email the webmaster with additions.

Please send me your contact info.  Include the unit number and your postion,  We are in the process of putting together email lists and mail forwarders using this new site's capabilities.

AND... This new site has a LOT of disk space.  If your unit would like to have a web presence, but was never able to justify the cost, this new site is your answer.  Let me know, and I'll set up a directory and an FTP login for you. You'll need your own webmaster to create and maintain the content.

JSNJoin Scouting Night is one of the most important events that we do as Scouters and so we want to make sure that everyone is prepared this year. It is our biggest opportunity to bring new scouts and their families into our program. Scouting is all about building values, character, and strong families. We need to get the word out!

Wendi Hanna is asking for volunteers from all around the district to help out with this year's recruitment drive.

ScoutingForAdventureCoinciding with the upcoming 100th anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA), this July marks the return of all-new episodes of the hit show, Scouting for Adventure; an original series based on the BSA and their flagship magazine, Boys' Life.

Saturdays at 6:30 pm.  On the Outdoor Channel.
On AT&T Uverse, this is channel 1680.

Click here for the show's website.

Attention:  All Adult Volunteers

There is an important new policy from the National BSA office that took effect on Tuesday, June 1st.

  • All adult leaders must be Youth Protection trained.
  • Any adult volunteers paperwork turned into the office starting on Tuesday, June 1st will need to follow this new policy.

This means that any new leaders you get will have to take Youth Protection Training before their application will be processed.

We all know how unreliable the training site is.  When your adults have problems, here is the support number: 1-800-627-3025.
